MY STORY

In 2004 Amy Lucy was heading to Saint Martins College to complete her masters in art and design, but her plans changed as she was met outside with a huge bunch of flowers and the boy that became her husband. Amy then moved to Shropshire and was married later she had two children. During this busy time Amy continued to develop her skills in pattern design and she began to produce her own work which was sold through galleries and craft fairs. During this time she also developed a website with her partner that would go on to be a big success in the future.

As time went on she soon realised she wanted to design and have her work manufactured in exclusive batches. Amy worked hard on her surface pattern design and concentrated on developing the skills she would need to design in the future.

 

Amy Lucy has always has a passion for ceramics and specialised in the malleable material at college and university. She is so excited to produce a range of ceramics for the home.

Amy Lucy was born in Stoke-On-Trent and she often wonders the influence that living in the potteries can have on a young girl, the potteries is in her blood and she even has ancestors within the industry.

​

Now a few years on Amy Lucy has produced this stunning collection of products inspired by her English heritage. She also draws her inspiration from the countryside, the arts and craft movement, great craftsman such as William Morris, and popular pattern focused companies such as Kath Kidston.

​

Amy Lucy has produced "luxury home textiles and home ceramics" made in The United Kingdom. Her new collection "The English Mansion" includes adorable designer "Kitchen Textiles" such as oven gloves, tea towels and aprons which feature unique surface pattern designs from amy lucy. 

​

Her Irresistible ceramics such as "designer mugs, and designer teacup and saucers are made by hand by a complicated and historic process of screen printing in Staffordshire.

​

With a rich heritage in innovation and handcrafted works Amy lucy is proud to be English and to produce work of such a high standard.

All products are made with the user in mind and are produced in The United Kingdom with extra care.
